Here's 10 quick thoughts before I head to small group:
- Now I see what all the hype is about.
- They know how to do it.
- The Music was good.
- The Set Looked great. If anybody wants to see how to do portable church, You HAVE to check them out.
- I felt very comfortable. I think people far from God definitely have an opportunity to connect at Revolution.
- Gary's message was more than challenging. I laughed. I was engaged. And I was hit in the stomach. I'm hard on communicators. But Gary did a great job. He was himself. He was real. He was honest, and he used an incredible illustration talking about flu shots. (I'll definitely be stealing this one.) You can access his message here.
- Preston, Revolution's connections pastor, was quite helpful. I'm looking forward to grabbing lunch with him sometime soon. I think there is a lot to learn from these guys. Their demographic is very similar to ours.
- I walked away encouraged about what God is doing in North Georgia. I am grateful to be a part of it. I am confident that God is going to do more than we could hope or imagine here in Rome!
- If you are a church planter, or if you just want to get a glimpse of some incredible things that God is doing, you need to check out Revolution Church.
- I love our launch team. They are eager, willing, and talented. They are going to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to Earth.
